The Standard

No product line. No seasons.
One hoodie, tested in the open, sold only if it passes.

01

Weight you can feel

Fabric with real heft the second you lift it off the table. Stitching that survives the season, then the next one. Every piece is worn and washed before it is allowed to sell.

02

The daily reach

Cut for how athletes actually live in a hoodie — bench, bus, classroom, couch. If it is not the one you reach for every day, it failed, whatever the label says.

03

Nothing decorative

Designed over three-hour nights on cold sidelines — a pocket that keeps your phone, a hood that stays where you put it, and nothing on it that doesn't earn its place.

The Test — A Public Journal

Nothing sells
until it passes.

The first pieces are judged in the open — worn a week, washed three times, photographed honestly. If something fails, it gets fixed or it gets cut. The verdict is published here either way.

ENTRY 01Arrival — first hand-feel, weight, stitching
ENTRY 02Seven days of wear — hood shape, comfort, the reach-for-it test
ENTRY 03Three washes — shrinkage, pilling, cuffs & hem
ENTRY 04The verdict — pass, fix, or cut. Published either way.

Further pieces

Released when they pass the standard, not when a calendar says so. The list hears first.

The Store — Drop 001

One piece. When it passes.

This is the store as it will open. Only what is being tested right now earns a price — so Drop 001 is one piece, the Hero Hoodie. Everything else waits until the hoodie has earned it a turn.

Heavyweight Tee

Sampled once and liked — but it is not the focus. It gets its price when it gets its turn, after the hoodie verdict.

The Cap

The same. One product, proven properly, before anything else is allowed a price tag.

Crewneck

Not sampled yet. It takes the same test next, and joins Drop 002 only if it passes.

Sweatpants

Designed, not sampled. Nothing sells here on a render and a promise.

01

The list opens it

When the verdict is a pass, the store unlocks to the First Drop list a full day before the public. Joining the list is how you get in first.

02

Small runs, checked by hand

Each piece is cut and sewn in a small run and inspected before it ships — no warehouse, no bulk bins. When a size is gone, it is gone until the next run earns its place.

03

Shipped with the story

Every order leaves with the Second Half card inside and tracking to your door. Shipping and returns terms are written out plainly below — before checkout opens, not after.

Drop 002 — Spring MMXXVII

The next test begins
when Drop 001 is decided.

Heavyweight Tee · The Cap · Crewneck · Sweatpants. Four pieces wait on the bench. Each one takes the same test, one at a time — and the First Drop list votes on the order.

The Story

Built from
the sideline.

Second Half began behind a camera. Rohan is a high school student on Long Island who gets hired to photograph games: Friday night football, weekend tournaments, college lacrosse when the call comes. Players run and stay warm. The photographer stands in one spot for three hours, and by the fourth quarter he knows exactly what his hoodie is worth.

The pocket that dumps a phone when you crouch for the low angle. The hood that slips while you track through the lens. The fleece that felt fine in September and thin by November. So he built the one he kept wishing he was wearing. Designed in the cold. Tested in real life. Held to a single rule: if we would not wear it ourselves, it does not ship.

Drop 001 — How It Works
01

The list goes first

The First Drop list gets access a full day before the public. No discount codes — early access is the reward.

02

A small, honest run

Drop 001 is made in limited numbers and the numbers are real. When a size is gone, it's gone.

03

No restock promise

A piece returns only if it earns a second run. Nothing is held back to manufacture a second frenzy.

Questions
When can I buy?

After the verdict. The manufactured run is being sewn now; when it lands it gets the same judgment as everything with this name on it — a week of wear, three washes, no mercy. If it passes, Drop 001 opens to the list first, this winter.

How does the sizing run?

The cut is athletic — a little longer in the body and sleeves. Real measurements, taken off the actual garments, are published here before the drop opens. Nothing guessed.

What about shipping and returns?

Orders ship from Long Island, New York, with tracking, within three business days of the drop closing. If a piece isn't right, it comes back within 30 days — unworn, tags on — and size exchanges run while stock lasts. And if anything on the garment itself fails you — a seam, the zip, the embroidery — it comes back on us, whenever it happens. The terms that print at checkout are the ones written here; they don't change at the till.

Who do I talk to?

A person, not a ticket system. Second Half is run by Rohan Murgai — the photographer behind RM Photography Studio — out of Long Island, New York. Questions about the drop, a size, or an order go to rm.photographystudio10@gmail.com and are answered by the people who made the piece.

Why so little branding?

Because the garment is the point. Up front it stays quiet: one small embroidered 2H. The back carries the motto, and that is all. If a piece needs a loud logo to sell, it isn't good enough yet.

The First Drop

Winter MMXXVI

The manufactured run is on the sewing table now. When it lands, it is judged in the open — worn, washed, and passed or cut where everyone can see it. This list hears the verdict first, and shops a full day before everyone else. One email, when it is real — nothing before.

That didn't go through — give it a moment and try once more.
